Israel lobby money, career total

$7,792,868

Figure compiled from Federal Election Commission filings as of September 5, 2026: direct and earmarked donations from pro-Israel PACs, plus independent expenditures made on Kamala's behalf or against Kamala's opponent by committees funded by the pro-Israel donors we track. Every committee, cycle, and amount is broken out below.

Where the money came from

J Street bundled $6.1 million into the 2024 campaign she took over, and two other groups spent $1.7 million on ads

Committee & cycleAmount
JStreetPAC · 2024 cycle
Contributions and earmarked checks J Street's PAC collected from its donors and forwarded to the committees that became her 2024 campaign: $5,346,403 (663 checks) to Harris Victory Fund (C00744946), $432,480 (823 checks) to Harris for President (C00703975), $282,785 (24 checks) to Harris Action Fund (C00838912). $3,120,178 of it arrived on or after July 21, 2024; $2,941,490 arrived earlier, while the committees were still named for Biden. She took over those committees and the money in them, so all of it is on her card.
$6,061,668
Zioness PAC (C00891259) · 2024 cycle
Eight independent expenditures supporting Harris in October 2024: digital advertising through SKDKnickerbocker and a mail program. The FEC's per-candidate total for the committee.
$987,808
Democratic Majority for Israel · 2024 cycle
$186,292 in independent expenditures supporting Harris from DMFI PAC (C00710848) and $102,700 from its independent-expenditure filer (C90022864), plus $435,400 the two spent opposing Trump in October 2024, after she was the nominee. Under our anti-opponent rule the money against her opponent is credited to her. The August audit had missed the $186,292.
$724,392
Joint Action Committee for Political Affairs · career
$11,000 to Harris Victory Fund in 2024 ($1,000 of it before July 21), $2,500 to Kamala Harris for Senate in 2016.
$13,500
Heartland PAC and Maryland Association for Concerned Citizens · 2016 cycle
$2,500 and $2,000 to Kamala Harris for Senate.
$4,500
NORPAC · 2024 cycle
One contribution to Harris for President, August 29, 2024.
$1,000
Total$7,792,868

This card exists because the method has to run in both directions, and the September 5 rebuild moved it a long way: from $547,575 to $4,850,378, almost all of it JStreetPAC bundling that was not counted until J Street's committees joined the tracked list. On September 25 it moved again, to $7,792,868: her 2024 committees were Joe Biden's until July 21, 2024, and she inherited them along with the money in them, so the $2,942,490 pro-Israel PACs gave those committees before the switch is now counted for her too. Money given to Biden's 2020 campaign, when she was his running mate, is not. Her total is about one thirtieth of Trump's. The mega-donor layer (Layer 4) has not yet been run for this card.

Cutting the other way: The pro-Israel money in the 2024 presidential race still ran overwhelmingly against Harris: $112.3M from Preserve America and $10.1M from RJC Victory Fund. Both are credited to Trump.

Method

What this card counts

Career totals from pro-Israel PACs, compiled from Federal Election Commission filings: every dollar the 97 pro-Israel committees we track have ever put into a politician's campaigns, across every federal office they have run for and every FEC cycle on file (1980 to today). That means direct PAC checks, the earmarked checks the PACs bundle and pass through (AIPAC PAC, NORPAC, JStreetPAC), and independent expenditures (ads, mailers, organizing) made to elect them, including money the same group spent attacking their opponent in that race. Where a super PAC that is not itself a pro-Israel PAC is funded mainly by the lobby's mega-donors or by a tracked PAC, we count that spending only after a donor review, and we publish the filings on the Receipts page. Money spent AGAINST a politician is never added to their total. Full methodology and the list of tracked committees.
